Our website officially launched last week with a one-of-a-kind flower crown & yoga party. Babylon Moms co-hosted the event with two of their favorite local moms Heather Simonson of Sea Change and Kaitlin McGreyes of Be Her Village and in partnership with some amazing brands and vendors. The party was not only visually stunning but it was such a nice time for friends to come together and enjoy themselves on a beautiful fall evening. Hometown Flower Company

Hometown Flower Company is a new take on the traditional neighborhood florist, Hometown Flower Co. is Long Island’s first flower truck and digital florist, offering fresh, local varieties delivered right to your doorstep in our signature “flowers in a bag” style. The also can be hired for events, bringing with them the iconic vintage pick-up truck, Baby Blue to entertain your guests. Activities include:

• “Flowers in a Bag” Arrangements

• Flower Crowns

• Floral Hoops

• Seasonal and Holiday Wreaths

• Children’s Flower Crowns or Arrangements

At our event, we made flower crowns and they were such a hit. The Hometown Flower team brought all the supplies and led our guests through the process from building the base, to choosing the right flowers, and bringing it all together. @hometownflowerco

Restoration Kitchen & Cocktails

Restoration Kitchen Cocktails is located on East Hoffman Avenue in Lindenhurst and has been an exceptional addition to the neighborhood since it opened. During quarantine, they stepped up their take out game and started offering adult sippy cups of their signature cocktails. They quickly became a hit for my friends and I and when I started to plan for our launch party, they were the first place I reached out to about cocktails. 

If you are not already familiar with Restoration Kitchen & Cocktails, they are more than just a local restaurant & cocktail bar. At Restoration Kitchen & Cocktails, they donate 100% of our net profits to local charities, foundations and families in need. The goal behind the family owned restaurant is to remind people to “Be The Good” they want to see in the world.

The cocktail menu is vast and contains speciality cocktails, Moscow mules, and margaritas in more flavors than you could ever imagine.  For this event, we choose the Lavender Lemonade, two versions one with Vodka and the other with Gin. I’m going to try to get them to share the recipe, but until then, you can try to recreate it from the description on the menu.

Hostess with the Mostess

Hostess With The Mostess started on Long Island NY in 2011 with a passion to make customers dream events into a reality. The small staffing company soon grew, adding on event rentals and catering departments to be able to meet all the needs of an event in house. With over 100 staff members and 10 different catering menus, they are able to accommodate all sizes and types of events. Don’t let our expansion fool you; they still treat every event with passion and dedication.   Decor & Rentals

I wanted to throw this party for many reasons. One being that I thought we all needed a safe night out with friends to enjoy some cocktails and laughs. But also, for the IG photos..

To bring my vision to life and create Instagrammable moments for my guests I teamed up with three companies to build out the decor and photo backdrop.

Creme De La Cart

Creme De La Cart is the original Long Island champagne cart company. I saw the cart at another event in town recently and knew it would make a great addition to our set up. It was easy to book, and the team delivered it, set it up, and picked it back up all the same day.

We choose to stock the bar with sparkling lemonade, rose’, and of course, Restoration cocktails. You can book the cart alone, or enhance it with balloons, ice cream, event staff, and more. @cremedelacart

K & B Balloon Decor 

Balloon decor comes in all forms! Garlands, arches, balloon walls and accents. For this event, K & B build a balloon installation on our backdrop and cocktail cart. They were able to find the perfect blend of colors to accent Se Change & Boho Birthing. It was truly a work of art and it added just the needed pops of color to the areas. @k_b_balloondecor

Simple Signs LI

The final decor element for the event was the greenery wall. It was the perfect backdrop to show off the Boho Birthing logo wreath and to showcase our guests beautiful colorful flower crowns. The team has a collection of flower walls, lawn signs, and rentals available. The walls are such a great addition to an event and make posing for the perfect picture a snap. @simplesigns_li
